How to use WiFi on campus 如何连接使用校园网

1. There are two SSID in campus for students . The two SSID is [WKU] and [WKU-VPN]. The connection password of these two SSID is WKU12345.  The password is only required for the first connection.

    1. 校园内有两个学生使用的SSID。两个SSID分别为[WKU]和[WKU- VPN]。这两个SSID的连接密码为WKU12345。只有在第一次连接时才需要密码。


2. [WKU-VPN] already contains VPN. So you could access Google, Facebook and Youtube by this SSID. [WKU] is a regular network. Some website such as Youtube, Facebook can not be accessed by this SSID.

    2. [WKU-VPN]已经包含VPN。所以你可以通过这个SSID访问Google， Facebook和Youtube。[WKU]是一个正规的网络。一些网站，如Youtube， Facebook不能通过这个SSID访问。

    


Please follow the instructions below to connect campus Wifi.

    请按照以下说明连接校园Wifi。


Step 1  步骤 1 

Please click the“bar”on the bottom right corner of the desktop.

打开Wifi选项。

Step 2   步骤 2 

Choose one SSID on your device. It will ask you enter a password. This password is only required the first time to connect.

    在您的设备上选择一个SSID。它会要求您输入密码。该密码仅在首次连接时需要。

  • Password for WKU ： WKU12345；    


    • WKU密码：WKU12345

  • Password for WKU-VPN： WKU12345

    • WKU VPN密码：WKU12345


Step 3   步骤 3 

Please open a browser (preferably Google Chrome). Go to any website, or go to login.wku.edu.cn. You will see the Login Authentication Page. Please fill in your network username and password, then click “Log In”.  Then you are all set.

    请打开浏览器（建议Google Chrome），输入login.wku.edu.cn。您将看到网络认证页面。请填写您的网络用户名和密码，然后点击“log in”。

Step 4  Bind your device  步骤 4 绑定设备 

This step is importmant and convenience for you to use Wifi in campus everyday. You do not need to login every day after you do the binding work.

    这一步对于你每天在校园里使用Wifi是非常方便的。完成绑定后，您不需要每天网络认证。

Notice: You should turn off "private MAC address" first.

    注意：你需要先关闭设备的“私有MAC地址”。

  • Click on "Add New" in the "Endpoint Devices" section. 

    在 "Endpoint Devices" 部分点击 "Add New" 。

  • In the dialog box that is displayed, enter the corresponding information. Click “Send” to get the verification code. 

    在弹出的对话框中输入相应信息，单击“Send”，获取验证码。

"SMS Code" refers to the verification code you receive on your phone. 

    "SMS Code"是指您在手机上收到的验证码。

"Description" refers to the Enter your name for the device. 

    "Description"指的是输入您的设备名称。


Note: 

Please see the insruction below to bind your devices with your network account. This is importmant and convenience for you to use Wifi in campus everyday. You do not need to login every day after you do the binding work.
